More About Taly Crowe…….

I am incredibly grateful to be a mother to two wonderful young adults and a wife to an incredibly supportive husband. My family is my greatest blessing on this journey, and I cherish how they’re always willing to try everything I cook, even if they can be tough critics (always in the most loving way). Our family dinners are filled with laughter, lively debates about everything and making every meal a cherished memory.

Being part American Indian, German, and Czech has significantly shaped my culinary journey. This mix of cultures inspires me to create unique dishes that celebrate diverse flavors and traditions. I have fond memories of my childhood, growing up near the seaside with my father, who was a clammer. Those days spent by the water instilled in me a deep appreciation for fresh seafood and local ingredients.

As a family, cooking has always been a communal affair where everyone had a job, from chopping vegetables to setting the table. I remember picking peas in the garden as a chore, but it was also a time filled with connection and laughter.

I’m fortunate to live a truly amazing life, split between the serene countryside of Ireland and the sunny shores of Fire Island, New York. These stunning places continue to influence my cooking, allowing me to draw inspiration from my heritage and the locally grown ingredients that surround me. Whether I’m harvesting herbs from my garden or taking in the coastal breeze, I feel a deep connection to the land and the flavors it offers, all of which reflect in my cooking.
