Easy Tiramisu

Ingredients:
Easy Tiramisu:
1 1/2 cups heavy/double cream
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp coffee liqueur, divided
1 cup mascarpone cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup espresso, room temperature
1 package lady / sponge fingers
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
Directions:
To a bowl add cream, sugar, vanilla, and 1 Tbsp coffee liqueur. With an electric mixer, whisk until stiff peaks. Stir in mascarpone cheese.
In a shallow dish mix espresso and the remaining 2 Tbsp of coffee liqueur together. Dip, (not soak) each side of the lady fingers and lay them in a single layer of an 8X8-inch dish. Smooth half of the cream mixture over the top. Add another layer of dipped lady fingers. Smooth remaining cream over the top. Dust cocoa powder generously over the top. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, before serving.
Will keep in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
