Charcuterie Christmas Tree

Tip

Charcuterie Christmas Tree:

The Base: A styrofoam cone that is wrapped with cling film.

Food:
Meats:
Choose a variety of meats like sliced chorizo, salami, ham, and pepperoni. Fold in half. If large fold in half again, or roll up.

Cheese:
A range of cheeses, cut into cubes. Anything from hard cheddar to soft mozzarella cheese.
Cut some hard cheese using a small star shaped cookie cutter, these are great for decorating around the cone. Using a large star shaped cookie cutter is perfect for the star on top.

Pickles, Olives, Peppers: I used Green olives. However, peperoncino, peppadee peppers, and baby pickles would be a great addition.

Tomatoes: Fresh tomatoes. However, semi-sundried tomatoes can be used as well.

Assembly:
Add toothpicks to meat, cheese, olives, tomatoes, and anything else using. Start at the bottom and move in a spiral direction all the way up the tree. Make each strip the same. Fill in any gaps with fresh rosemary.
