Keeping Carrot and Celery Sticks Crisp:
Method:
Peel and cut carrots into sticks. Clean and cut celery into sticks. Add carrot and celery sticks to cleaned jars with lids, making sure the jars are large enough to fit the sticks. Pour cold water over the sticks, completely submerging with water. Place lids onto top and store in the refrigerator, for up to 2 weeks. Cleaning the water every 2-3 days, and more often if water becomes cloudy.
