Mummy Hot Dog and Cheese with Spicy Ketchup
Serves: Makes twenty | Prep: 20 min | Cook: 15 min
Ingredients:
Mummy Hot dog and Cheese:
10 hot dogs
6-7 slices cheddar cheese
1 tube crescent/croissant rolls
cooking spray
20 candy eyes
Spicy Ketchup:
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tsp hot sauce
1/4 tsp chili powder
Directions:
Preheat oven 375F/195C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Cut hot dogs in half. Cut cheese slices into three equal slices, just enough to fit under the hot dogs. Unroll dough, press the perforations of two rolls to seal, leaving you with three squares. Cut each square into long skinny strips.
Place each hot dog on top of the cheese and wrap with dough strips to resemble bandages. Leave a space at the top for the eyes. Place all wrapped hot dogs on to the prepared tray and spray with cooking spray. Bake, 15-17 minutes, until puffed and golden.
While baking, make the spicy ketchup by mixing ketchup, hot sauce and chili powder in a bowl together.
Remove hot dogs from oven and place candy eyes on. Serve with spicy ketchup.
