Tips On Picking and Storing Pumpkins:

Make sure pumpkins are hard to the touch, without soft spots.

Make sure the pumpkins have no signs of mold or discoloration.

The stem is intact. When carrying a pumpkin always use two hands and don’t hold it by the stem.

Smaller pumpkins are best for cooking. Larger pumpkins for Jack-O’-Lantern

Alternatives for pumpkins is sweet potatoes and butternut squash.

A cut pumpkin can be stored in the refrigerator up to 7-10 days.
