Viola Pressed Goat Cheese

Tip

Viola Pressed Goat Cheese:

Ingredients:
1 goat cheese log
Fresh violas, Edible Flowers

Directions:
To decorate a goat cheese log with violas, start by taking the cheese out of the refrigerator and letting it sit at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes. This will soften it slightly, making it easier to work with.

While the cheese is softening, select your violas or other edible flowers. Make sure they're clean, dry, and free of pesticides.

Once the cheese is ready, gently place the violas on top and around the sides. Use the back of a small spoon to press each flower lightly into the cheese so it adheres without losing its shape.

When you're happy with the design, place the decorated goat cheese log in the refrigerator and chill for at least 20 minutes. This will help the cheese firm up again and hold the flowers in place.

Serve chilled or allow it to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before enjoying with crackers or fresh bread.
