Bacon Marrowfat Peas

Serves: Four | Prep: 5 min | Cook: 15 min

Ingredients:

Bacon Marrowfat Peas:
1 100g bag no soak marrowfat peas
4 strips steaky bacon, chopped
1 onion, chopped
Salt

Directions:
Cook Marrowfat peas according to the package directions.

In a skillet over medium high heat cook bacon, until crisp. Remove from skillet, place on a paper towel lined plate. Remove all bacon grease, except 1 Tbsp. Lower heat, add onions and cook 3-5 minutes, until soft.
Once peas are cooked, drain. Add bacon and onions to the peas, mix well. Season with salt.
