Beef and Mushroom Spaghetti

Ingredients:
Beef and Mushroom Spaghetti:
1 lb spaghetti
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 lb chestnut/brown mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 lb ground beef
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup heavy/double cream
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
In a large pot of boiling salted water cook the spaghetti according to the package.
In a large pot heat oil over medium high heat add mushrooms and onions, cook 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add ground beef, garlic, salt and pepper, cook until meat is browned, about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and peas, bring to a boil, reduce heat. Stir in cream and parmesan cheese, lightly simmer until the sauce has thickened, 3-5 minutes.
Drain the pasta, add to the sauce, stir to combine.
Sprinkle the parsley on top and serve with more parmesan cheese.
