Candied Pecans

Serves: Makes 1 cup | Prep: 5 min | Cook: 5 min

Ingredients:

Candied Pecans:
1 cup raw pecans
3 Tbsp light brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice

Directions:
Line a baking tray with baking paper.

In a saucepan over medium heat add brown sugar, salt and orange juice.  Cook 2 minutes, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is bubbling. Add pecans, cook for 3 minutes, stirring often to coat the pecans in the sauce.

Remove from heat and spread evenly onto the prepared baking tray, let cool.

Store in an airtight container, one week at room temperature or up to three weeks in the refrigerator.
