Pesto

Ingredients:
Pesto:
1 full packed cup fresh basil leaves
2 garlic cloves
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp pine nuts or walnuts
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
In a food processor, process the basil leaves, garlic, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, salt and pepper into a green paste. With the motor running, slowly add in the olive oil until desired consistency, scraping down the bowl as needed.
Freezing instructions: Place pesto into clean ice cube trays, cover and freeze until firm, remove from trays, place into a freezer bag and use as needed.
