Sour Cream Cucumber Salad

Ingredients:
Sour Cream Cucumber Salad:
1 lb cucumbers, thinly sliced
1/2 white onion, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
3-4 Tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
Directions:
Place thinly sliced cucumbers and onions in a colander. Sit the colander over a deep plate, to collect any liquid. Toss with salt, place another plate on top of the cucumbers with a weight on top. Place in the refrigerator. Let sit for at least four hours to overnight.
Discard any liquid from the bottom plate. Transfer cucumbers and onions to a bowl. Stir in sour cream, pepper, garlic powder, and dill.
