Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats with White Chocolate Drizzle

Serves: Twelve | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 5 min

Ingredients:

Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats:
3/4 cup butter
10 cups mini marshmallows
1 oz freeze dried strawberries or 1/2 cup strawberry powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
9 cups Rice Krispie cereal

White Chocolate Drizzle:
2 oz white chocolate, roughly chopped

Directions:
Line a 9X13-inch baking tin with baking paper. Ligthly grease the baking paper.
In a blender, blend freeze dried strawberries into a powder.
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in the marshmallows and continute to stir until the marshmallows are completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in strawberry powder, vanilla, and salt. Stir in the cereal. Making sure each piece of cereal is fully coated. Transfer to the baking tin. Pressing down with a lightly greased rubber spatula. Let the treats set for at least one hour before removing from the tin.

Meanwhile, melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Stirring, until smooth. Place in a piping bag or drizzle directly on top of the treats. Then cut the treats into squares and enjoy.

Store in treats in an airtight container with wax paper in between each layer so they do not stick together.
