Steak Teriyaki

Serves: Four | Prep: 20 min | Cook: 25 min

Ingredients:

Steak Teriyaki:
1.5 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 carrot, julienne
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup sugar snap peas
2 scallions, cut lengthwise
1 red chili, thinly slice
Toasted sesame seeds

Directions:
In a bowl whisk soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, red pepper flake, garlic, and ginger together.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over high heat. Add onion, carrot, bell pepper, and sugar snap peas. Cook, 3-5 minutes, until vegetables have started to brown and softened. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet along with sliced steak. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, 2-4 minutes, until steak is cooked through. Return the vegetables to the skillet along with the soy sauce mixture and cook 1 minute more, until coated in the sauce. Remove from heat. Top with scallions, chilis, and toasted sesame seeds.
