Berry Brie Puff Pastry
Serves: Six | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 12 min
Ingredients:
Berry Brie Puff Pastry:
1 puff pastry, thawed
6 slices brie cheese, room temperature
1 fig, cut into 6 wedges
12 blackberries
1 Tbsp pistachio nuts, roughly chopped
1-2 Tbsp honey
1 egg
Directions:
Preheat oven 400F/200C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into 14X10-inch rectangle. Cut the rolled pastry into 6 equally squares. Place the squares onto the prepared trays. Add a slice of brie, a fig wedge and 2 blackberries to the center of each square.
Make egg wash by whisking the egg with 1 Tbsp water. Brush the egg wash over the edges of the puff pastry. Drizzle each square with honey. Bake, 12-14 minutes, until golden brown.
Once out of the oven sprinkle pistachio nuts over the top and more honey if desired.
