Garlic Butter Steamed Clams

Ingredients:
Garlic Butter Steamed Clams:
2 lbs clams
4 Tbsp butter, divided
6 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup white wine
1 tsp lemon zest
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tsp red pepper flake
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 Tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
Directions:
Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a deep skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic, cook, 1 minute. Add wine, lemon zest, juice, and red pepper flake. Stir and cook for 1 minute. Add clams and the remaining 2 Tbsp butter. Cover and cook, 8 minutes. Sprinkle fresh parsley and parmesan cheese over clams before serving.
